Title: Who Is Your Walking Partner?
Text:
Ephesians 2:10 (HCSB)
10 For we are His creation, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time so that we should walk in them.
Observation:
Who should we walk with in our earthly journey? The Bible says in the Amplified Version this.
Galatians 5:16 (AMP)
16 But I say, walk and live [habitually] in the [Holy] Spirit [responsive to and controlled and guided by the Spirit]; then you will certainly not gratify the cravings and desires of the flesh (of human nature without God).
The Apostle Paul gives us guidance and encouragement of how we should walk.
Ephesians 4:1-4 (HCSB)
1 Therefore I, the prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk worthy of the calling you have received,
2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, accepting one another in love,
3 diligently keeping the unity of the Spirit with the peace that binds ⌊us⌋.
4 There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to one hope at your calling—
Prayer:
Father, I thank You for the promise that we have the divine presence of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit living in the hearts of Your people.
Father, help us to never forget that we don't have to ever walk alone; that You are always with us. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray, Amen.
Isaiah 55:11 (KJV)
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
