Title: How Important Is Living in the Presence of God in Your Life?

Psalm 27:4 (HCSB)
4 I have asked one thing from the LORD; it is what I desire: to dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, gazing on the beauty of the LORD and seeking ⌊Him⌋ in His temple.
Observation:
Is living in the presence of God of first importance in your life? Is that the desire of your heart?
Psalm 26:8 (HCSB)
8 LORD, I love the house where You dwell, the place where Your glory resides.
David had a lot of things going on in his life. He had the constant pressure of having to deal with King Saul who wanted to kill him.
However, he had a place of refuge; a place where he could find deliverance from the fear of man. When you fear God, you don't have to fear man. God's people of every age have been able to find refuge in the Lord.
Isaiah 41:10 (HCSB)
10 Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you with My righteous right hand.
When the child of God lives in the presence of the Lord, you can find refuge and peace all of the days of your life.
Psalm 23:6 (HCSB)
6 Only goodness and faithful love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD as long as I live.
Prayer:
Father, I thank You for Your abiding presence in the lives of Your people. Father, I am so grateful that your children are never alone when they live in Your presence. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
