Title: Are You Prepared for Spiritual Warfare?
Text:
Ephesians 6:10-13 (HCSB)
10 Finally, be strengthened by the Lord and by His vast strength.
11 Put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the tactics of the Devil.
12 For our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens.
13 This is why you must take up the full armor of God, so that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having prepared everything, to take your stand.
Observation:
If you are a child of God this world is not your home. This world is a battleground; not a playground. However, we are not without hope. We have the Word of God, and the God of the Word to help us.
The child of God is a victor, and not a victim. Let this Word encourage you in your daily walk through this wicked and dangerous world.
1 John 2:14 (HCSB)
14 I have written to you, children, because you have come to know the Father. I have written to you, fathers, because you have come to know the One who is from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, God's word remains in you, and you have had victory over the evil one.
Everyday and every hour of the day we need the strength that comes from being in Christ. Remember, that whatever you are facing in your life that God is bigger, and stronger than the forces and people that come against you.
I encourage you to heed the warning, and encouragement of the Word of God.
Ephesians 6:10-11 (HCSB)
10 Finally, be strengthened by the Lord and by His vast strength.
11 Put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the tactics of the Devil.
Prayer:
Father God, I am so grateful that we have all that we need in You to overcome anything that comes against us in our walk through this world. Father, I thank You that we are victors, and not victims.
Father, I pray that as we face the spiritual warfare in this world that we will stand in the vast strength of the Lord, and that we will put on the full armor of God everyday. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray, Amen.
Isaiah 55:11 (KJV)
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
