Title: Have You Experienced the Fruit of Being Grateful?
Text:
Ephesians 1:16 (ESV)
I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers,
Observation:
There is so much power in saying these two words to a person, "Thank you". Try saying them, and see how much it blesses the person you say them to, and how much you are blessed.
Colossians 1:3 (ESV)
We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you,
Colossians 4:2 (ESV)
Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.
So, let's determine to make being thankful a vital part of our prayers, and a part of the way we communicate and connect with God and with one another. It's not only a good thing to do; it's the Godly thing to do. You can start by saying thank you with a grateful heart. Don't just be grateful to God; be grateful to others.
Colossians 3:17 (ESV)
And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Prayer:
Father God, my dear Father, I pray for a mighty work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of Your people to do a work of grace within each of us. Father, I pray that the love that abides within us will overflow to touch the lives of others. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray, Amen.
Ephesians 4:32 (ESV)
Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

Matthew 4:4 (HCSB)
4 But He answered, "It is written: Man must not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of God."
Psalm 2:8 (HCSB)
8 Ask of Me, and I will make the nations Your inheritance and the ends of the earth Your possession.
