Title: Do You Have the 3 Marks of a Disciple?
Text:
Matthew 28:19-20 (HCSB)
19 Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age."
Observation:
God had big plans for Jesus, and Jesus has big plans for His followers. The life and ministry of Jesus was about others, and our lives should be about others.
John 20:21 (HCSB)
Jesus said to them again, "Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you."
What has Jesus sent His followers to do? Today, I want to focus on the assignment to make disciples of all nations. Here are 3 marks of a disciple.
John 8:31 (HCSB)
So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed Him, "If you continue in My word, you really are My disciples.
John 13:35 (HCSB)
By this all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."
John 15:8 (HCSB)
My Father is glorified by this: that you produce much fruit and prove to be My disciples.
How you doing making disciples? Remember you are not alone; Jesus made this promise, "I am with you always, to the end of the age." God has sent us on a mission, and He supplies the power to accomplish the mission. Let's go and grow for His glory.
Prayer:
Our Father in heaven, my dear Father, we are so grateful to be a part of Your work of making disciples; help us to look to You for the power to do it. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Matthew 4:4 (HCSB)
4 But He answered, "It is written: Man must not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of God."
Psalm 2:8 (HCSB)
8 Ask of Me, and I will make the nations Your inheritance and the ends of the earth Your possession.
