Title:  Do You Know the Key to Being Extraordinary?

Text:

Ephesians 3:20-21 (HCSB)
20 Now to Him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us— 21 to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Observation:

One of my favorite books in the Bible is Ephesians, and one of my favorite chapters is Chapter 3. It contains one of my favorite prayers. It is a prayer I pray often for others, and myself; it's a prayer that I ask others to pray for me.

God is about abundance and not scarcity; He is about strength not weakness, He is about how you finish, not just how many things you start. God is about substance not shallowness.

Every child of God has something within them that will enable them to be extraordinary. You have within you the divine power of the triune God. God is able to work in ordinary people to do extraordinary things.

The extra (God in you) makes ordinary people like you and me special; it makes us extraordinary. I am praying this prayer for you, and me. Will you pray it for me?

Prayer:

Father God, my dear Father, I pray this prayer for all of Your believing children; to all who have the divine power of God living in their hearts. I pray that those who don't belong to Christ will come to Him, and receive Him.

Romans 8:9 (HCSB)
You, however, are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, since the Spirit of God lives in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him.

My prayer for you:

Ephesians 3:14-20 (NKJV)
14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height-- 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. 20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,

I pray this prayer in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

Matthew 4:4 (HCSB)
4 But He answered, "It is written: Man must not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of God."

Psalm 2:8 (HCSB)
8 Ask of Me, and I will make the nations Your inheritance and the ends of the earth Your possession.
