Sunday Morning Reflections_March 27, 2011

The Word for wisdom:

Proverbs 27:21 (HCSB)
A crucible for silver, and a smelter for gold, and a man for the words of his praise.

The Word for inspiration:

Psalm 9:1-2 (HCSB)
1 I will thank Yahweh with all my heart; I will declare all Your wonderful works. 2 I will rejoice and boast about You; I will sing about Your name, Most High.

The Word for encouragement:

Jude 1:22-23 (MSG)
22 Go easy on those who hesitate in the faith. 23 Go after those who take the wrong way. Be tender with sinners, but not soft on sin. The sin itself stinks to high heaven.

My prayer:

Our Father, my dear Father, I exalt your name above every other name. Father, I give you thanks with all of my heart for your tender mercies, and the gift of eternal life through Jesus, the Messiah of God.

Father God, I pray that your people will always remember that there is power in praising Yahweh with our whole heart.

My song:

Father, I Stretch My Hands to Thee (Click on link below to listen to this song):
