Title: What Are You Taking to the World?
Text:
Psalm 67:1-2 (HCSB)
1 May God be gracious to us and bless us; look on us with favor Selah
2 so that Your way may be known on earth, Your salvation among all nations.
Observation:
This Psalm is a prayer that God would bless His people of Israel so that the people of the world may come to know God. This was God's purpose for them.
Exodus 19:3-6 (HCSB)
3 Moses went up [the mountain] to God, and the LORD called to him from the mountain: "This is what you must say to the house of Jacob, and explain to the Israelites:
4 'You have seen what I did to the Egyptians and how I carried you on eagles' wings and brought you to Me.
5 Now if you will listen to Me and carefully keep My covenant, you will be My own possession out of all the peoples, although all the earth is Mine,
6 and you will be My kingdom of priests and My holy nation.' These are the words that you are to say to the Israelites."
Israel failed to be the kind of witness God wanted them to be; over time they turned away from the Lord and from His Word.
The mission of making this goodnews known to the world now belongs to the Church. Every believer is a priest before God; this is our mission. How are you doing?
1 Peter 2:9-10 (HCSB)
9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His possession, so that you may proclaim the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
10 Once you were not a people, but now you are God's people; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
Prayer:
Father God, my dear Father, I pray that my faith will not falter, and that I will be found to be faithful to the mission you have given your people; help me to make disciples wherever you plant me. Father, since I have received mercy, help me to dispense mercy to others. Lord, I thank You for Your presence, power, and peace that live in me. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
Live Thyself, Lord Jesus, Through Me
"Thee I take to all my problems, as the full solution now."

Acts 6:4 (KJV)
4 But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.
