Title: What Is Flowing From Your Heart?

Text:

1 Corinthians 12:31 (NLT)

31  So you should earnestly desire the most helpful gifts. But now let me show you a way of life that is best of all.

Observation:

I don't know about you and your house, but for me and my house, I want the way of life that is the best that God has to offer. What is the best of all? Let's look at what it is not. Then, we will save the best for last.

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 (NLT)

1  If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn't love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

2  If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God's secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn't love others, I would be nothing.

3  If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn't love others, I would have gained nothing.

Oh yes, the way that is best of all is love.

1 Corinthians 13:13 (NLT)

13  Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.

Prayer:

Father, hallowed be Your most holy and righteous name; the name that is above every name on earth and in heaven. Glory to God!

Father, I'm praying for a mighty ocean of love to flow from our hearts to Your heart, and from our hearts to the others that we encounter in our daily living.

Father, we acknowledge and receive the love that You have already poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit that You have given to us. Father, with grateful hearts we will love You, and others with our whole heart. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

Singing in my Spirit:

"I've got love like an ocean,

I've got love like an ocean,

I've got love like an ocean in my soul,

I've got love like an ocean,

I've got love like an ocean,

I've got love like an ocean in my soul."

--

Isaiah 55:11 (KJV)
11  So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
