The Word of God for wisdom:
Proverbs 3:1-4 (HCSB)
1 My son, don't forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commands; 2 for they will bring you many days, a full life, and well-being. 3 Never let loyalty and faithfulness leave you. Tie them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart. 4 Then you will find favor and high regard in the sight of God and man.
The Word of God for inspiration:
Psalm 25:1-4 (HCSB)
1 Lord, I turn to You. 2 My God, I trust in You. Do not let me be disgraced; do not let my enemies gloat over me. 3 No one who waits for You will be disgraced; those who act treacherously without cause will be disgraced. 4 Make Your ways known to me, Lord; teach me Your paths.
The Word of God for encouragement:
2 Corinthians 3:1-3 (HCSB)
1 Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Or do we need, like some, letters of recommendation to you or from you? 2 You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, recognized and read by everyone. 3 It is clear that you are Christ's letter, produced by us, not written with ink but with the Spirit of the living God—not on stone tablets but on tablets that are hearts of flesh.
My prayer:
Father God, I pray that we will never forget the power and the proficiency of the Word of God, and the Spirit of the living God. Father, keep me in your Word, and enabled and empowered by the Holy Spirit. Father, write your words on the tablet of my heart.
Father God, I ask that you would work in me and all your people until you have turned our hearts to receive your Word, and obey it; thereby finding favor and high regard in the sight of God and man.
