Sunday Morning Reflections_June 5, 2011

The Word for wisdom:

Proverbs 5:21 (MSG)
21 Mark well that God doesn't miss a move you make; he's aware of every step you take.

The Word for inspiration:

Psalm 150:1-2 (ESV)
1 Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens!
2 Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness!

Psalm 150:6 (ESV)
6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!

The Word for encouragement:

1 Chronicles 29:11 (ESV)
11 Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all.

My prayer:

Father God, Sovereign Lord, I come to your throne room of grace today with a bowed head, and an open heart. Father, I come before you to worship and praise you for who you are, and for your mighty works. Father, I come acknowledging that you are without a doubt above all. Lord, there is none like you, no not one. Father, you are God all by yourself. Praise the Lord!

1 comment:

  1. God is sovereign of all and over all. He is the God of gods, and the Lord of lords; there is none that is greater than the Sovereign God.

    Do you know Him?

    Romans 10:13 (ESV)
For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
