How To Have Unity

Text:

Colossians 3:14 (HCSB) 

14  Above all, ⌊put on⌋ love—the perfect bond of unity. 

Observation:

Love is a verb. I offer the challenge to you to do one of the acts of love described in this passage.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (HCSB) 

4  Love is patient, love is kind. Love does not envy, is not boastful, is not conceited, 

5  does not act improperly, is not selfish, is not provoked, and does not keep a record of wrongs. 

6  ⌊Love⌋ finds no joy in unrighteousness but rejoices in the truth. 

7  ⌊It⌋ bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 

Prayer:

Father God, I ask that You would give each reader of today's devotional the courage to be a doer of the Word. Amen!
