Title: Do You Know the Lord?
Text:
Jeremiah 31:33-34 (ESV)
33 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34 And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, 'Know the Lord,' for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more."
Observation:
There is nothing that grips my heart and thrills my soul than these two truths; knowing God, and having the ability to obey His Word. Neither of these would be possible except for Jesus.
Galatians 4:1-7 (ESV)
1 I mean that the heir, as long as he is a child, is no different from a slave, though he is the owner of everything, 2 but he is under guardians and managers until the date set by his father. 3 In the same way we also, when we were children, were enslaved to the elementary principles of the world. 4 But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. 6 And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, "Abba! Father!" 7 So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God.
I am so grateful for Galatians 4:6-7; this is what makes salvation and obedience a reality in the lives of God's people. What God did for others, He will do for you. Do you know Him? Do You trust Him? Do you obey Him? Can this be said of you?
2 Corinthians 3:3 (AMP)
You show and make obvious that you are a letter from Christ delivered by us, not written with ink but with [the] Spirit of [the] living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.
Prayer:
Father God, my dear Father, O what joy and gladness fills the heart and soul of Your people as we think about what You have done in us since Jesus came into our hearts. Our hearts overflow with joy unspeakable and full of glory. In the might name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
Galatians 5:16 (AMP)
But I say, walk and live [habitually] in the [Holy] Spirit [responsive to and controlled and guided by the Spirit]; then you will certainly not gratify the cravings and desires of the flesh (of human nature without God).

Matthew 4:4 (HCSB)
4 But He answered, "It is written: Man must not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of God."
Psalm 2:8 (HCSB)
8 Ask of Me, and I will make the nations Your inheritance and the ends of the earth Your possession.
