Title: The Power of God
Text:
Ephesians 2:10 (HCSB)
10 For we are His creation, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time so that we should walk in them.
Observation:
Yesterday I read several scriptures that had a consistent theme; the power of God. I have listed them here.
In each of these scriptures God supplies the power. Words and works go together, and God supplies both.
The grace of God that resulted in our salvation is so amazing. God saves us by his grace, and by his power he enables and supplies the words and the works to demonstrate his great love and grace to a watching world.
Ephesians 2:8-10 (HCSB)
8 For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God's gift—
9 not from works, so that no one can boast.
10 For we are His creation, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time so that we should walk in them.
Prayer:
Our Father in heaven, my dear Father, I am so thankful that everything we need to fulfill our God ordained purpose you have promised you will provide.
Father, I thank you for your wisdom, words and your works. Father, may your people walk by faith, and draw everything we need from the word of God with the enabling power of the Spirit of God. In Jesus name, Amen.

Acts 6:4 (KJV)
4 But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.

A reader read this one today; I posted it over one year ago. However, the message came as an encouraging to me that I should always remember that God is bigger than any problem I will ever encounter. Praise the Lord!
