The Word of God for wisdom:

Proverbs 19:15 (MSG)
15 Life collapses on loafers; lazybones go hungry.

The Word of God for inspiration:

Psalm 13:1-2 (HCSB)
1
LORD, how long will You forget me? Forever? How long will You hide Your face from me?
2
How long will I store up anxious concerns within me, agony in my mind every day? How long will my enemy dominate me?

Psalm 13:6 (HCSB)
6 I will sing to the LORD because He has treated me generously.

The Word of God for encouragement:

Romans 4:1-5 (HCSB)
1
What then can we say that Abraham, our physical ancestor, has found?
2
If Abraham was justified by works, he has something to brag about—but not before God.
3
For what does the Scripture say? Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him for righteousness.
4
Now to the one who works, pay is not considered as a gift, but as something owed.
5 But to the one who does not work, but believes on Him who declares the ungodly to be righteous, his faith is credited for righteousness.

My observation:

In Romans chapter four, the Apostle Paul provides a clear message about the topic of how God brings about reconciliation of sinful man with the holy and righteous God. It has never been through the law, and gives Abraham as the example.

Genesis 15:6 (HCSB)
6 Abram believed the LORD, and He credited it to him as righteousness.

As you can see from the above passage from Genesis, Abraham was justified by faith before the giving of the law.

This is the reason you can have confidence in your salvation, when it comes by the way that God has provided to make sinful man justified in his eyes. As for me I believe in Jesus, I believe in the one who says he is the way to right standing before God.

John 14:6 (HCSB)
6 Jesus told him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

My prayer:

Father God, my dear Father, I praise you and I thank you for sending Jesus, your only begotten son, into the world so that I might have the privilege of living in your presence forever. Father, I thank you for the gift of salvation; for the gift of everlasting life. In Jesus name, Amen.

2 Corinthians 5:21 (HCSB)
21 He made the One who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Romans 1:16-17 (HCSB)
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is God's power for salvation to everyone who believes, first to the Jew, and also to the Greek.
17 For in it God's righteousness is revealed from faith to faith, just as it is written: The righteous will live by faith.
