The Word of God for wisdom:
Proverbs 10:18 (NLT)
18 Hiding hatred makes you a liar; slandering others makes you a fool.
The Word of God for inspiration:
Psalm 43:3-5 (NLT)
3 Send out your light and your truth; let them guide me. Let them lead me to your holy mountain, to the place where you live.
4 There I will go to the altar of God, to God—the source of all my joy. I will praise you with my harp, O God, my God!
5 Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God!
The Word of God for encouragement:
Mark 9:22-24 (HCSB)
22 "And many times it has thrown him into fire or water to destroy him. But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us."
23 Then Jesus said to him, "'If You can'? Everything is possible to the one who believes."
24 Immediately the father of the boy cried out, "I do believe! Help my unbelief."
My observation:
This concerned father had taken his son to some of the disciples of Jesus, and they could not help him with his tormented condition. The man comes to Jesus, and pleads with him for help.
We need to do what this father did; we all do, not just the one who needs help, but also those of us who are in the helping ministry.
We serve a God who is a big God. He has the compassion and the power to help us. Nothing is impossible when you give it to God.
Faith in God and prayer are the keys to turning our failures into victory. Billy Graham says, "The three most important things you can do are pray, pray, and pray".
My prayer:
Our Father in heaven, my dear Father, I am so glad that I have a God in whom I can place my complete trust. Father God, I thank you for the promise that, "Everything is possible to the one who believes". Father God, "I do believe! Help my unbelief".

Mark 4:20 (ESV)
20 But those that were sown on the good soil are the ones who hear the word and accept it and bear fruit, thirtyfold and sixtyfold and a hundredfold."
