Text:
Psalm 107:1 (KJV)
1 O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Observation:
Today is a blank page. Yesterday is gone; looking in the rear view mirror will not allow you to go back. And, tomorrow is not promised. Today is the day of freedom for you to walk it out in your daily living.
What kind of day do you expect? Today has the potential, and the possibility of being your best day ever.
Why not decide, you have the freedom, to make this day the best day ever. For a new look, take the upward look.
Psalm 19:1-3 (KJV)
1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
Prayer:
Father God, Sovereign Lord, my dear Father, we offer up to You today the praise, honor, and glory that You alone deserve. Father, You are God all by yourself; there is none like You, no not one.
We come into Your presence this morning and we say the words that Jesus said when He taught His disciples how to pray.
Matthew 6:9 (ESV)
9 Pray then like this: "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.
Father, help us, and empower us to do some act of lovingkindness to someone today that will advance the kingdom of God.
Matthew 6:10 (KJV)
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Matthew 6:13 (KJV)
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Ephesians 6:10-11 (ESV)
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.
11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.
