Title: The Choice to Live Out of Abundance

Text:

John 10:10 (ESV)
10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

Observation:

The choice word for today is "Abundance". When I think about this word I think about the saying, "Is the glass half empty, or is the glass half full?" Which side of the comma characterizes your attitude and decisions in how you live your life? Do you see the obstacles or the opportunities?

We have within us the potential for greatness, and by having faith in God, we can fulfill our God shaped purpose.

God made you, and you are special. There is nothing that you need that your Maker cannot provide. Now, look to God, and live the life of abundance that is your gift from God. The God who placed the potential within you will also supply the power for you to fulfill His purpose for you.

Ephesians 2:10 (AMP)
10 For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].

Prayer:

Our Father in heaven, my dear Father, I lift up and exalt your name above any other name in heaven or earth. How majestic is your name, O Lord, in all the earth.

Father God, your love for your people is so amazing. The words of Jesus, "I came that they may have life and have it abundantly" thrill my soul to the core.

Father God, I ask that you help me, and all of your people, to believe and live out the reality of this declaration by Jesus in our daily living. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Acts 6:4 (KJV)
4 But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.
