The Word of God for wisdom:
Proverbs 14:34 (NLT)
34 Godliness makes a nation great, but sin is a disgrace to any people.
The Word of God for inspiration:
Psalm 106:47-48 (NLT)
47 Save us, O LORD our God! Gather us back from among the nations, so we can thank your holy name and rejoice and praise you.
48 Praise the LORD, the God of Israel, who lives from everlasting to everlasting! Let all the people say, "Amen!" Praise the LORD!
The Word of God for encouragement:
John 6:37 (ESV)
37 All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out.
John 10:27-29 (ESV)
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.
28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.
29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand.
My observation:
These words from the lips of Jesus gives me such assurance that when God saves you, that He can and will keep you saved. If he said it once, that would be enough for me, but when He said it again, well that settles it for me. The miracle of salvation is the work of God; that is evident in the following revelation. God is the author of salvation, and Jesus is the implementer. Isn't grace amazing? Truly, God is the author and finisher of our faith.
John 6:44-46 (ESV)
44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.
45 It is written in the Prophets, 'And they will all be taught by God.' Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to me—
46 not that anyone has seen the Father except he who is from God; he has seen the Father.
My prayer:
Father God, my dear Father, I am so grateful for the length you were willing to go to provide for your believing children so great a salvation.
Father God, I am so thankful for the words of Jesus that gives us the assurance that all who are born from above have eternal life, and they will never perish, and that no one will snatch them out of the hands of Jesus. Oh, the blessing of being in Christ. Amen and Amen.
Colossians 1:27 (ESV)
27 To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

1 Timothy 4:4-5 (HCSB)
4 For everything created by God is good, and nothing should be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving,
5 since it is sanctified by the word of God and by prayer.
