The Word of God for wisdom:
Proverbs 3:7-8 (NLT)
7 Don't be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the LORD and turn away from evil.
8 Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones.
The Word of God for inspiration:
Psalm 10:1-4 (NLT)
1 O LORD, why do you stand so far away? Why do you hide when I am in trouble?
2 The wicked arrogantly hunt down the poor. Let them be caught in the evil they plan for others.
3 For they brag about their evil desires; they praise the greedy and curse the LORD.
4 The wicked are too proud to seek God. They seem to think that God is dead.
The Word of God for encouragement:
Galatians 5:16 (HCSB)
16 I say then, walk by the Spirit and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.
My observation:
There are many obstacles that we have to face in living the Christian life. If I had to make it through life in my strength alone, there is no way I could make it. There are powerful forces aligned against you. However, there is a superior and overcoming power within you. You can make it through whatever you encounter in your journey if you learn to "walk by the Spirit".
The term "walk by the Spirit" really means to live by the Spirit; it's the way you live your life, it's the way you behave. Everyone who is a genuine believer has the Spirit living in them.
Romans 8:9 (HCSB)
9 You, however, are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, since the Spirit of God lives in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him.
Here is the key to "living by the Spirit". We must yield to the Spirit of God, and he will change us within, and it will show in our behavior. The result will be a happy and blessed life. When we yield to the Spirit, the words of Christ will change our minds, the love of Christ will change our actions, and the power of Christ will change our desires.
My prayer:
Father God, my dear Father, I am so grateful that I have a helper sent by you to help me to accomplish the will and purposes of God in my life. Lord, I pray that you would quicken in me the willingness to yield to the Holy Spirit of God so that I may "walk by the Spirit", and enjoy a blessed life.

1 Peter 2:2-3 (ESV)
2 Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation— 3 if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good.
