Sunday Morning Refelections_November 6, 2011

The Word of God for wisdom:

Proverbs 6:6-11 (HCSB)
6 Go to the ant, you slacker! Observe its ways and become wise. 7 Without leader, administrator, or ruler, 8 it prepares its provisions in summer; it gathers its food during harvest. 9 How long will you stay in bed, you slacker? When will you get up from your sleep? 10 A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the arms to rest, 11 and your poverty will come like a robber, your need, like a bandit.

The Word of God for inspiration:

Psalm 23:1 (ESV)
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

The Word of God for encouragement:

Jeremiah 29:11 (ESV)
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

My Prayer:

Father God, my dear Father, I thank you Lord that I can say, our Father, and that I can also say, "The Lord is my shepherd. If I can say that, and I can, then I can also say, "I shall not want". Father, I am so grateful that you have a plan for my life, and that your plan is rooted in your unconditional love for me. I am so blessed, and forever grateful to you.

My song:

1 Peter 2:2-3 (ESV)
2 Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation— 3 if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good.
