The Word of God for wisdom:
Proverbs 23:17-18 (ESV)
17 Let not your heart envy sinners, but continue in the fear of the Lord all the day. 18 Surely there is a future, and your hope will not be cut off.
The Word of God for inspiration:
Psalm 34:22 (ESV)
The Lord redeems the life of his servants; none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned.
The Word of God for encouragement:
Romans 8:1 (ESV)
There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
Romans 8:33-34 (ESV)
33 Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised— who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.
My observation:
Today we conclude our two week journey of meditating on Psalm 34. Our focal verse for today stands out, and it summarizes the Psalm. What an amazing closing statement.
Psalm 34:22 (AMP)
The Lord redeems the lives of His servants, and none of those who take refuge and trust in Him shall be condemned or held guilty.
One of the questions I ask when I read the scriptures is this, "Is there something to thank God for?" That question is easy to answer after reading and thinking about this wonderful gift from our heavenly Father.
My prayer:
Our Father in heaven, my dear Father, I am so thankful that you have redeemed my life and that Jesus has set me free. Father, I am not ashamed to tell the world that Jesus saves the lost, and sets the captives free.
The Lord lives, and if you ask me how I know he lives, I can testify that he lives within my heart. God is alive, God is almighty, and God is able to do anything but fail. I am so glad that as the song writer says, and Lynda sings so sweetly "He can make a perfect heart".
Psalm 150:6 (AMP)
Let everything that has breath and every breath of life praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!)

2 Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation— 3 if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good.
