Title: How to Relate to One Another?

Text:

Romans 12:16 (ESV)

16  Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight.

Observation:

It is impossible to live our lives without somebody being critical of us in one way or another. I am informed by this word of encouragement from the Apostle Paul.

Romans 12:18 (ESV)

18  If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.

God has already conquered evil through the finished work of Jesus on the cross at Calvary. Our responsibility as members of the Body of Christ is to be dispensers of love and grace.

Romans 12:3 (ESV)

3  For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned.

The message to the Body of Christ is to live in a right relationship with God, and one another. Our Christ has already won the battle over evil. Therefore, we should make every effort to not allow evil to overcome us while living in a world surrounded by evil.  Remember if Christ is in you, there is no room for evil to win.

Romans 12:1-2 (ESV)

1  I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.

2  Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Prayer:

Father, I am so grateful for the privilege of knowing You, and being known by You.

Father, I am so grateful that You provide the means for our salvation, and the means for us to live the overcoming life in the midst of all the evil that is in the world. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

Isaiah 55:11 (KJV)
11  So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
