Title: How to Have a Glorious and Graceful Day

Text:

Psalm 31:15 (KJV)
15 My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.

Psalm 118:8 (KJV)
8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

Observation:

The thought occurred to me this morning that the greeting, "Good Morning" is okay, but a Glorious Morning and a Graceful Morning is so much better. That is what I experienced in my quiet time with the Lord this morning before I ever turned on my computer.

I have found in my life that God is so faithful; he will meet you where you are, and He always shows up on time.

Lamentations 3:22-23 (KJV)
22 It is of
the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

I am so glad that the God who made us knows us best, and what He says we can trust. It is no wonder that the Psalmist trusted in the Lord with his whole heart.

Psalm 103:14 (KJV)
14 For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.

Genesis 2:7 (KJV)
7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

It's decision time. Who will you trust; God or man?

Joshua 24:15 (KJV)
15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Prayer:

Our Father in heaven, Sovereign Lord, my dear Father, I stand in awe of Your amazing love. Your love is unconditional and not diminished by our unfaithfulness. Lord, I long to be a vessel that You can use to channel Your love through me to others.  O, how God loves you and me. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Matthew 11:28-30 (KJV)
28 Come unto me, all ye
that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling—
Calling for you and for me;
Patiently Jesus is waiting and watching—
Watching for you and for me!
