Sunday Morning Reflections_April 3, 2011

The Word for wisdom:

Proverbs 3:5-7 (HCSB)
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding; 6 think about Him in all your ways, and He will guide you on the right paths. 7 Don't consider yourself to be wise; fear the Lord and turn away from evil.

The Word for inspiration:

Psalm 103:14 (HCSB)
For He knows what we are made of, remembering that we are dust.

The Word for encouragement:

James 1:17 (HCSB)
Every generous act and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights; with Him there is no variation or shadow cast by turning.

John 3:27 (HCSB)
John responded, "No one can receive a single thing unless it's given to him from heaven.

My prayer:

Our Father in heaven, my dear Father, I praise and thank you for who you are, and for the mighty works that you do. Father, I thank you that the one who knows us so thoroughly chooses to treat us so extravagantly. Father, your love is truly amazing.
