The Gospel Message:
2 John 1:1-3 (NLT)
This letter is from John, the elder. I am writing to the chosen lady and to her children, whom I love in the truth—as does everyone else who knows the truth—
because the truth lives in us and will be with us forever.
Grace, mercy, and peace, which come from God the Father and from Jesus Christ—the Son of the Father—will continue to be with us who live in truth and love.
Observation:
The above passages from the " The One Year Bible" spoke deeply into my heart. I pray that they will speak deeply into Your heart and that the Holy Spirit will guide you so that you may live in truth and love.
Today will conclude my writing in this forum for 2017. It has been my practice to shut down in December and the first part of the New Year. So, I wish each of you a Merry Christmas, and a Happy and Blessed New Year.
Ephesians 6:18-19 (NLT)
Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.
And pray for me, too. Ask God to give me the right words so I can boldly explain God's mysterious plan that the Good News is for Jews and Gentiles alike.
Prayer:
Father God, the prayer of Your servant John is the prayer that I pray for all who read, hear, and heed these words today.
3 John 1:2 (NKJV)
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
1 Samuel 3:10 (NLT)
10 And the LORD came and called as before, "Samuel! Samuel!" And Samuel replied, "Speak, your servant is listening."
