Title: Do You Have Something You Can Get Excited About?

Text:

Psalm 118:24 (KJV)

24  This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Observation:

I don't know about you, but I am charged by being in the presence of people who have enthusiasm showing on their face, and in the way they live their lives.

The focal verse for today provides us with something that we can get excited about every day that you awake to behold the splendor and beauty of the day that the Lord has made.

Let's get all excited and show on our faces and what comes from our mouth our enthusiasm for the Lord, and what He has done.

"This is the day, this is the day.

That the Lord has made, that the Lord has made.

We will rejoice, we will rejoice,

And be glad in it, and be glad in it.

This is the day that the Lord has made.

We will rejoice and be glad in it.

This is the day, this is the day

That the Lord has made."

Prayer:

Father, I thank You that everyday is a day of rejoicing because it is a day that You have made, and everything that You make is good, and greatly to be praised.

So, today I am reminded of the encouragement of the Apostle Paul to the church at Philippi that we can rejoice always in the Lord.

Philippians 4:4 (ESV)

4  Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice.

Father, let everything that has breathe give praise and thanks to You, and rejoice evermore. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

Isaiah 55:11 (KJV)
11  So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
