The Word for wisdom:
Proverbs 16:2 (HCSB)
All a man's ways seem right to him, but the Lord evaluates the motives.
The Word for inspiration:
Psalm 73:25-26 (HCSB)
25 Who do I have in heaven but You? And I desire nothing on earth but You. 26 My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart, my portion forever.
The Word for encouragement:
Job 42:1-6 (HCSB)
1 Then Job replied to the Lord: 2 I know that You can do anything and no plan of Yours can be thwarted. 3 ⌊You asked, ⌋ "Who is this who conceals ⌊My⌋ counsel with ignorance?" Surely I spoke about things I did not understand, things too wonderful for me to know. 4 ⌊You said, ⌋ "Listen now, and I will speak. When I question you, you will inform Me." 5 I had heard rumors about You, but now my eyes have seen You. 6 Therefore I take back ⌊my words⌋ and repent in dust and ashes.
My prayer:
Our Father in heaven, my dear Father, I praise and thank you for all of your wonderful and generous provisions. Lord, I pray that I might learn from the lesson of Job's life by turning from fear, and going all the way by trusting wholly in the Lord in every situation. Lord, remove all my fears from me so that Satan will not have an opening to introduce adversity into my life by his hands.
Job 3:25 (HCSB)
For the thing I feared has overtaken me, and what I dreaded has happened to me.
